Pretty Good Not Bad presents Jessica Moss

Pretty Good Not Bad presents:

Jessica Moss with Pyramid // Indigo, Arya Hawker & Laine Butler

Jessica Moss (Montreal, QC)
Facebook / Bandcamp / Website
Violinist Jessica Moss is a well-known fixture of the Montreal underground and independent music scene. Part of the Constellation family since it’s beginnings, she is best known as a permanent member of Silver Mt Zion. She was also a founding member of Black Ox Orkestar, an integral part of Vic Chestnut’s albums on the label, and featured on Carla Bozulich’s Evangelista.

Pyramid // Indigo
Bandcamp / Facebook
Pyramid//Indigo’s lush ambient soundscapes are reminiscent of cassette tapes unspooling into the abyss. The duo’s live show is an experimental trip into the void, combining traditional & noise guitar atmospherics with live drones and layers of piano haze that are narcotically hypnotic.

Laine Butler & Arya Hawker (Vancouver, BC)
Website/ http://www.behance.net

Named as one of "BeatRoute’s 6 New Forms Festival 2016 must-see acts", Laine has toured the BC festival circuit VJing for numerous artists at Shambhala Music and Art Festival and at Bass Coast’s legendary Slay Bay stage.

Pretty Good Not Bad is proud to present an immersive audio/visual experience in a truly unique venue. Crag X Climbing Centre is home to one of North America’s most contemporary gymnasium designs, with gigantic vertical walls covered in modular triangles. Exploring this geometric expanse, the evening’s artists will transform the space through immersive ambient music and large scale visual creative mapped to the wall’s triangular frames.
In our third year, Laine Butler and Arya Hawker expand our visual content program over the four-storey climbing walls, creating an experience specifically for the venue.
