This brilliant dark comedy by Guillermo Calderon questions the very nature of theatre.

Actress Olga Knipper - the recent widow of the great playwright Anton Chekhov, has lost all confidence. Her two colleagues strive to restore her confidence, and are confronted with their own pretenses in an art form that has become increasingly bourgeois. Meanwhile, outside in the streets, the 1905 Saint Petersburg massacre of workers demanding better conditions is underway.
