IIHF World Junior Championship: Finland vs Denmark

The IIHF World Junior Championship is returning to British Columbia for the first time in 13 years, and Langley will host a pair of pre-tournament games as part of the Lordco Road to the World Juniors. Finland has won four gold medals at the IIHF World Junior Championship, last standing atop the podium at the 2016 World Juniors on home ice in Helsinki. Denmark is in the Top Division for the fifth year in a row; its highest finish ever was fifth at the 2017 tournament in Toronto and Montreal. The United States has also won gold on four occasions, most recently at the 2017 World Juniors in Montreal and Toronto. The Czech Republic is a two-time gold medallist, last taking the top prize at the 2001 World Juniors in Moscow, Russia.
